So I think thats about it. um I don't really think I have any hooks except for maybe the fact that I live in Hong Kong. But other than that my grades are pretty average, I'm a white female, I love sports, and I adore children and service. I'm quite shy at first but after I warm up to people and places I become very outgoing. I haven't taken my SSAT's or PSAT's yet but im taking PSAT's in 2 weeks and SSAT's in November. I hope I'll do okay on them, I'm not very good at taking huge tests but we'll see. My teacher recommendations should be fine except for maybe math because my teacher doesn't even know my name. Okay sorry I wrote so much but I am just really worried about getting into boarding school I think the one I want to go to most is Hotchkiss but I don't know if I have a good chance or not. Please help chance me, thank you so much.

You look like a great candidate. Since you said you were a little shy at first, I would really focus on getting over that and letting the real you stand out in your interview. I think that’s what really kills a lot of the intellectual kids who apply to these schools, we’re not very extroverted. But again, you sound like you have great chances.

thank you so much. And yes I will try and work on being more outgoing in my interview.

If you have any questions about Kent, I am a current student there and would be happy to answer them!

thank you so much bookluver07 i’ll be sure to go to you if I have any questions

Hi there! I am a sophomore at Brooks School right now (so we would be in the same grade). Your resume looks pretty good! I just wanted to add in that at our school we care a lot about the community and becoming a tight-knit group, so if you show a definite interest in becoming part of it, you will have a great chance! Oh and the fact that you would be coming all the way from Hong Kong would definitely be interesting to admissions!

If you have any questions, just ask me!
Good Luck!:)
