Who knows, but my impression is that you have a great shot of getting into Colby. You are a really interesting person with lots of activities. It would be good if you could get your critical reading score up a bit, but even so I think you have a great shot. Can you take the ACT? Many students in the USA do better on the ACT than on the SAT.

I saw this reply just now. I raised my critical reading score to 710 and writing to 720. Now I have a combined score of 2150. I added several extra-curriculars. Subjects: Math 730 and Physics 660. I applied under the ED2. Do you think I have chances?

I also apply ED2. Have you got everything’s status on the portal changed to “received”, konspace?

The average SAT scores for admitted students at colby are 700/700/700 and you fall right around there. Applying early decision two will also help your acceptance, as will being an international student. You mention applying for a scholarship, and Colby only offers one scholarship, all other money given is only for financial aid.

lpt1995, yes everything’s status has been “Received” for nearly 1 month.

Mules15, I am applying for financial aid, not for scholarship. I probably made a mistake in the previous post.

Average 700? What?
700 is like 75th Percentile ;d
average is like 650’s

700 means that you scored better than 75% of the college body
and 650 like the score of 1950 means that half of the college has lower score and half higher
so basically you guys are exaggerating everything
especially SAT’s
anything over 2000 is GREAT for an international student and
2150 is close to unreal
so
… yeah

you’re in ^^^
