i'm applying as an econ major!!
please please help

boston college might be a reach for you to be honest, but definately achievable. You might want to consider lehigh or uconn, they both have great econ programs. for econ in the boston area you should consider bentley and babson as mid-low targets. and as a reach but a shot you should look at northwestern. it has possibly one of the best econ programs in the country, but this will be a high reach

thanks!!! what do you think my chances are for the uc schools i listed??

oh i didnt see uc berkely. to be honest that is a very high reach and a more expensive school. also as much as i like it, I dont like it because it is very large and easy to “dissovle into the crowd” and go unnoticed, but the other ucs are low reaches like BU, but still do able

do you think i’m a match for a school like ucsb and uci? i really want to get into those schools (ps thanks for answering)

yeah those are the lower ucs so youd be a match, but you have to keep in mind that the Ucs are arguably the best state schools in the country, and you might want to try to break into the 2000’s with your SAT because it makes a difference
Chance me back
