<p>Hey guys! I'm appling early decision 1 this year, and I was wondering if anyone could chance me?</p>

<p>I'm applying to the College of Arts and Science and I definitely want to major in Journalism.</p>

<p>Gender: Female
Race: White
State: New York
School: Public; one of the top 60 high schools in the country
GPA: 3.7
SAT: 2110 (710 reading, 660 math, 740 writing)
ACT: 31
AP: English Lang 4</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
Newspaper club (Features editor this year!)
Future Leaders of America
French club
Substance Free Alliance
National French Honors Society
Internship at a law firm this summer
Camp counselor last summer
Volunteer at an animal shelter</p>

<p>Current senior schedule:
AP French
AP Environmental Science
AP Statistics
AP English Lit
AP Comparative Gov
AP Microeconomics (probably dropping; switching into different non-AP economics class)</p>

<p>I'm also pretty sure I'm going to have great teacher recommendations since I asked teachers who really love me to write them. I haven't started my NYU supplement essays yet, but I think my common app essay is strong! (I have to get it reviewed by my guidance counselor/English teacher, though)</p>

<p>You’re application sounds pretty decent and you’re from new york, which i think helps even if they say it doesn’t. Even if you don’t get into CAS i feel like you’d at least get into LSP, especially if you’re applying ED 1. You should be okay though. Good luck!</p>
