<p>Hey CC, I visited a few weeks ago and was so impressed. Of course, it had to be the most selective school on my list haha.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.7 UW, 4.67 W (<--- not going to mean anything to CC cuz my school has our own bs weighting scale) took all honors/APs
taking 5 APs Sr. year</p>

<p>SAT:
750 W, 780 R, 790 M (2320, single sitting)</p>

<p>SATII:
800 US Hist
770 Bio
800 Chinese</p>

<p>AP: 5 USH, 5 Bio</p>

<p>Extracurricular:
4 years varsity saber fencing for HS
120+ hrs volunteering @ hospice office
VP for a cultural club
3 yrs rhythm guitar for jazz band
tutoring for $$ (should i include this on app?)
Misc. volunteering clubs
Nat'l Honor Society, Nat'l Art Honor Society, Nat'l Science Honor society</p>

<p>Your test scores (SAT/SAT II) are fantastic, and your ECs are great, too (as long as you received some awards in the ones you mentioned). The fencing will be especially cool to them! Only weak point is academics. Doesn’t seem like you’ve taken many APs, though this isn’t necessarily an issue. Plus, 3.7 is a bit weak for Columbs, but your weighted (as you mentioned is quite complex) could pull you through on that. Overall, you definitely have a shot so don’t give up hope! :]</p>
