Even for a URM your test scores are pretty low and your ECs a little weak for Columbia(lack of leadership)</p>

<p>Grades and test scores are pretty low… but you are seriously diverse which is really awesome! Of course being african american and from Oklahoma will definitely help, but I don’t know if they outweigh scores and grades. Not exactly sure if colleges care too much about being a gay republican, but I seriously think that’s awesome because I’m one too (well, bisexual republican)! I’m not from oklahoma and i’m not black though… But if you have a good essay to write about that, by all means do so.</p>

<p>Definitely apply to Columbia. You just might get lucky enough to be admitted.</p>
