<p>I think your scores put you at a disadvantage if you're applying to Columbia, but it's not impossible to overcome it. If you place the right emphasis on your involvement with music, it will show the school your commitment. You're obviously very accomplished. </p>

<p>Your SAT scores aren't the best, but your EC's are really good. If you shine in your essays, Columbia may want to take a second look~ the best of luck!</p>

<p>i think it is a low reach, while your scores may not guarantee your entrance, the rest of your resume is spectacular, and columbia tends to notice that best of luck!</p>

<p>Great work on music! Are you planning to major in it? Columbia's as superselective as anyone else, but with your ECs you've got a good chance.</p>

<p>well i personally think your devotion to music is exceptional, and it gives you an awesome hook to lure colleges in with. there are plenty of people with better numbers than you but the majority of them lack a hook to give colleges a reason to admit them. IMO you have a good shot at columbia. im applying to columbia as one of my choices too. good luck my brown friend! (im bengali and im guessing youre desi no?)</p>

<p>Your GPA is not columbia material, but your extra curriculars are nice. Focus on you Bharatanatyam dance and the South Indian heritage you have (i'm assuming ur south indian). Showing that culture will really improve your chances. Try sending a video (some college apps let you)</p>

<p>I think you have a decent shot. It is any Ivy so anything is possible, but your ECs rock and definitely show a lot about your music. I would suggest a CD or something. Really indicate why Columbia is the right school for you and you will have a better than average shot. </p>
