Proficient in Romanian and Spanish

Note: I also suffered serious depression during senior year, which explains my lessened workload.

It is possible, but unlikely. If you had no leadership roles in any of your ec’s, your chances for a top-tier college, one of the best in the nation, are essentially low. Dont give up though, college admissions might see something that I do not.

You have a high SAT, but less than average SAT II’s

I do have the highest leadership role in the Literary Magazine, and I also forgot to mention in the post that I was the associate editor of the Yearbook in my junior year. I also was elected by faculty members to be part of a committee to interview a new Head of School.

I will say there are some weak points: I don’t have much community service (about 70 hours) and I’ve won few academic awards (National Honors Society, Presbyterian College Award, and some acting awards, nothing else).

Columbia doesn’t really have a supplementary essay, but my Common App is good. And I am very confident that I have well-written rec letters.

(But, to be honest, I don’t think it’s likely I’ll get into Columbia. I would really love to go there, though)

if i were you i wouldnt give up hope-you never know! Columbia might see something in you that they really want
