chance me for columbia

freshman gpa- 92 took all 3 honors classes offered- honors english, honors alg 2, and honors foreign language (science and history weren't tracked)

sophomore gpa so far- 93, i am taking all 5 honors classes offered- honors chem, honors english, honors precalculus, honors foreign language, and honors govt (there are no AP classes offered to sophomores, but i plan to take all 3 APs offered to juniors next year)

school doesnt rank bc there are only 69 people in the student body

i estimate to get at least a 2050 on my SATs

i plan to take 3 SAT subject tests- Chem, Math 1, and Hebrew Language

P.S. i go to a very small, private religious high school and end school at 5:00 pm each day, so i also take 4 religious classes per day (which i also get A's/A-'s on)

leadership: president and founder of social action club in school this year

extracurricular activities: creative writing, write for school litmag and school newspaper, submit to contests and other writing websites, semifinalist in international open poetry contest sponsored by the world poetry movement, drama club in school both this year and last year, will hopefully continue thru the end of high school and will get 2 credits for it on my transcript by the time i graduate from high school, hip hop club this year, litmag committee this year, student ambassador committee last year, art club last year

community service: school requires 15 hours per year, which i am currently on par with

i am a non-legacy
i am white
i am a non-first generational college student (my parents came here from russia a few years before i was born so they went to college in russia, but i guess it still counts as me not being a first generation college student, even though im the first one to go to college in america in my family)

buuumppppp

it will be a longshot, and i recommend you take math II instead of math I

honestly you have no hooks ,average at best ECs, your predicted SAT score will be below their range and your GPA is not fantastic. I’m not saying your GPA is awful its good, but by Columbia’s standards its nothing special

you better look at other schools because right now your chances of columbia are unrealistic

Your GPA and projected SAT scores are weak, and while your ECs show a good focus, they don’t really stand out. Columbia will be a high reach for you, but there are still a lot of great schools you have a chance at.

thank you guys I consider what u said
What do others think about my stats?
