Bump!
Please guys – 63 of you looked at this and not one commented???

Well, your GPA is fine… how is your rigor?

Your SAT is low for unhooked columbians, so I would only submit your ACT, which is fantastic.

Your ECs look…well standard. Honor roll, tutoring, and a job? Almost every ivy league applicant has those. A job is good, it shows commitment. Honor roll- has zero impact. Tutor is good, is it for profit or free?

Leadership in multiple clubs is good.

I’m not going to chance you, because i have no knowledge of columbia admissions, but good luck!

thanks for being the first one!!!

GPA looks good, however a downward trend may look less appealing to colleges. Not sure if this is the case for you or not.

SAT is a little low for people applying to Columbia. So if I were you, I would submit ACT which is really good

For EC’s, they look commonplace, what do you want to major in? Make sure you zone in on 2 or 3 places for extracurriculars rather than spread your self out. I’m not saying that they are bad but just saying that they don’t stand out.

Do you have any hooks?

Looks like you have pretty good chance at columbia if you have good rec’s + essay. Id say low reach.

I’d have to say major reach with no hook. They are taking less than 10% of a highly qualified applicant pool and nothing here stands out as exceptional.
