I think my recommendations were good! One was from my journalism teacher, who I know really well, and the other was from my AP Bio teacher who I absolutely loved. My counselor knows me pretty well, so I think that was good as well

I also think my essays were good, although that is hard to be objective about. I am especially proud of my honors college essay.

Thank you so much! I would really really like to get into BU so let me know if it’s possible please!!!
I also clicked yes on the common app when it said would you like to be considered for the college of general studies

Thanks!!!

I’m kind of freaking out because I heard that COM was the hardest BU school to get into which made me kind of nervous! I assumed that all of the colleges were the same rigor to get into, which was probably a stupid assumption to make. So if someone would respond that would be great!!!

I’d say you’re a solid match for COM, though it’s hard with COM b/c beyond GPA and test scores, they’re really holistic about admissions. I wouldn’t say it’s the hardest school at BU to get into–personally I think that’s Questrom–but I’d qualify it as difficult in a similar way that CFA is difficult–they really look at your individual talents & fit specific to what you want to major in in COM. But your stats are very good!

For honors, it’s impossible to say without reading your essay. The prompts for the honors college are designed to really see how deep a thinker you are, so it’s hard to chance without reading, IMO.
