Why not apply to USC if you are NMS?

bump 10char

Ucsd and ucd are matches
The rest are reaches

You got this dude.
Stanford is always a reach, regardless of the application.
Berkeley would be a low reach or high match; the same with UCLA.
UCSD: Low Match
Davis: Match

Your SAT’s shine above your academics and your extracurriculars will help with the holistic approach the UCs have.

We are applying to all the same schools! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1573114-chance-me-please.html</a></p>

Stanford: reach
Berkeley: low reach/reach
UCLA: low reach
UCSD: match
UCD: match

Stanford: Reach
Berkeley: Low Reach
UCLA: Low Reach
UCSD: Low Match
Davis: Low Match

I think your academic rigor and scores are great overall! But your GPA and lack of ECs is going to hurt when applying to a school like Stanford. I think it may be a little out of your reach unless you have any hooks (in which it changes EVERYTHING haha). But definitely apply to the schools that you want to. Best of luck!

Chance Back? [Chance me ED Penn, Chicago and More!](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1573209-chance-me-ed-penn-chicago-more-will-chance-back.html)

Stanford: high reach
Berkeley: reach
UCLA: low reach
UCSD: match
UCD: match

given this kid’s stats, why would berkeley and ucla be considered reaches for him?

^ Berkeley EECS is ridiculously hard to get into :(

A 3.79 puts you at a huge disadvantage also
