<p>Northwestern lists their "Very Important Factors" for admission as:
Secondary school record
Class rank
Standardized test scores
Essays</p>

<p>And "Important Factors" as:
Recommendations
Character/personal qualities
Extracurricular activities
Talent/ability</p>

<p>So since extracurriculars, etc, aren't as important as my school record, rank and test scores, might I have a chance a bit higher than 50% if I apply ED?</p>
