Chance me for Computer Computer Science, thanks in advance

<p>I am currently going to a community college in California and trying to transfer as a junior to U of I in fall 2013. By the End of Spring I will done with the following:
Calc I
Calc II
Calc III (covered Vector Calc + Multi Var. Calc)
Linear Alg. (covered up to Gram-Schmidt Process)
Discrete mathematics
Survey of computer (kind of like CS101 not a programming class but survey)
Intro to Programming and problem solving in Java
Data structure and alg. in java
Assembly language
English 1 and 2
Chem 1 (2 by end of Summer)
a lot of GEs (short of one GE class to get IGETC by end of summer)
right now I have GPA of 3.93 (I got B in english, no one got A in my class)</p>

<p>Oh yeah.
I also work as a Math tutor in our college.
did internship as graphic designer and video editor over summer
volunteer for about 80hours in community
designed a website for a club in our college (still working on it)
received AP scholar award
I am VP of youth group in our mosque </p>

<p>I know I should be done with at least one physics class-- that is one problem I see in my app.</p>

<p>You should try to take Physics in the Spring or Summer. UIUC is known to reject transfers that don’t meet the course requirements in the transfer handbook, even with a stellar GPA.</p>

<p>The college of engineering focuses on GPA and courses taken for transfer students. Anything computer related is pretty tough to get into right now, but I think you have a very competitive application if you can meet the Physics requirement.</p>

<p>@eclark6, Thanks I will try to take a physic class over summer. Now, I just hope my community college offers it over summer.</p>
