I am a current junior in high school from Cambridge, MA (at a good public high school).
I am very interested in attending Connecticut College as a Dance major.

High school’s dance company which I actively performed in and choreographed for (member for all four years of HS)
Dance at a local studio (and been dancing for much of my life)
Apprentice for 3 local professional dance companies
participated in a summer outreach dance program where I choreographed, performed for, and taught classes at many youth and teen summer programs around Greater Boston
I Will likely/hopefully get a part-time job soon

A few additional notes: I realize the D+ in HN Chemistry is horrible… and I have some not-so-great grades in math, as well. I feel like I have a somewhat valid mental health-related reason for this, but I know that these will lower my chances of being accepted. I also know that I could probably have challenged myself more throughout my four years of HS but I hope this won’t be too detrimental.
Please let me know if you think I even have a chance of getting accepted, and whether or not it is even worth it to apply Early Decision.
