<p>I recommend for your essay you highlight why you like the CAS curriculum which is definitely the most unique at Cornell. If you have an intended major, certainly highlight the features Cornell offers that you plan to take advantage of, but CAS definitely prides itself on the diverse requirements (language, humanities, social science, math, science, etc.). I think highlighting that in your essay will give you an edge since most people who apply to CAS tend to only highlight their intended major (if they have one). Plus in CAS you don’t declare your major until your sophomore year (you can apply second semester if you wish though).</p>
