Chance me for Cornell ED versus RD? :)

College of Engineering

Race: White
Gender: F
Both parents went to grad school at Cornell, so I have legacy

SAT:
R: 720, M: 770, W: 760
Total: 1490/2250
Physics: 780
Math II: 760

GPA: 96.6%, class doesn't rank but top 10%

Awards: AP Scholar, CAPT Advanced Scholar (state award), Bausch and Lomb science award, Wellesley book award, math award 10th and 11th grade, hopefully National Merit SF but I'm on the border

APs: Physics B (5), Spanish (5), Lit and Comp (5), taking 4 more this year

Senior schedule is 4 APs, and three required classes

Other stuff:

Technical Theater:
Stage manager (12), Technical director (12), Lighting operator (10-11), member (9), hugely involved in theater tech

FTC Robotics:
Coach (11-12), Captain (12), team is very recent but we do very well in competitions

Math tutoring:
I've taught math classes when teachers were out for a day, as well as tutoring kids in my school in need of math help

NHS:
NHS member (11-12), very selective at my school

Art teaching (big one):
-800+ hours volunteering at local nonprofit art studio both teaching and generally helping out
-They later hired me for a summer teaching position which also involves basically running their summer camp along with the director of the organization
-It's more organizational and management and teaching stuff than doing actual art

Work:
-that art studio
-face painting professionally

Summer programs:
Done two summer programs at different colleges about Materials Engineering, I think it's really cool and want to major in it

I'm submitting an art supplement

Recommendations: My trig and honors alg II teacher who absolutely LOVES me, asked me to teach her class a couple times and my spanish teacher who self studied for the AP with me due to lack of an actual AP Spanish

I'm about 95% sure I want to go to Cornell, but that 5% is holding out for MIT. However, I don't want to miss out on my chance to go to Cornell by passing up my ED opportunity, if that makes sense.

So, what are my chances ED?

What are my chances RD?

bump! anyone?

I guarantee you will be accepted ED. RD, you will likely get accepted as well. Essays have to be on point.

Awesome, thanks. Schools like Rensselaer also seem really nice to me, and I would probably get merit aid there… and there’s also Olin which seems cool. Cornell is definitely my first choice though, and I don’t want to pass up that almost-definite acceptance

anyone else??
