Guys, I’m approaching a state of mental disarray that decades of psychological research have conclusively proven is not survivable. Please chance.

The list is really reach heavy with a 3.6. Do you love U of CT?

Applying to top colleges can really be a crapshoot, I think you have a good chance of getting into Cornell ED.
Your GPA is a little low, but I doubt colleges will care, especially considering how difficult your courseload has been (I mean, multivariable calculus as a sophomore!)
Assuming you applied to all the schools on that list, I can guarantee you’d get into at the very least one of them assuming you wrote decent essays.

Yes your GPA is low but you took some of the most hard classes there are. Unfortunately I couldn’t find average GPAs for Cornell but, say, at Vanderbilt, 22% of incoming freshmen had a GPA between 3.5 and 3.74. (That was the second on your list so I just went with that)

Your ECs aren’t bad fyi. Write great essays and get your favorite teachers to write banging recs and you’ll be fine at at least some of the schools.

Thanks for your input, guys! Bump.

Your in IMO

what school are you applying to? like engineering, CAS, etc. that could make a difference as to what your chances of admission are

I think you’re in.

I would say it’s all dependent on your essays now. A lot people that are applying to these colleges and very good grades and test scores. Your ECs make you have an extremely good chance as well as your coursework. Just worry about the essays IMO.

Thanks for the encouragement, guys! I’m probably applying CAS.
