**I know my SAT subject test scores are absolutely terrible, so feel free to comment on how bad they are. Please chance me for Cornell! Thank you for your time and patience.

yay it’s great to know I have a show at Cornell. I promised myself that my essays will be killer-I can’t submit anything less. I love writing essays that are unconventional and are snappy (not in a bad way). Do you think it’ll be okay for me to have an essay like this for Common App?

ok SAT IIs don’t matter nearly as much as you think they do, especially for Cornell - you have a great shot! I can’t really tell you exactly how likely if I don’t know what school/major you’re applying to.

Although your shot at Brown, Harvard, Dartmouth, JHU, and stanford range from OK to awful though. Those schools are significantly harder to get into, have you applied to any other solid targets like Emory Vanderbilt CMU WashU St. Louis or Northwestern?

well, I’m applying to the schools of Arts & Science, probably for a science major such as biology (my eventual goal is to get into med school). No, I am not applying to such schools^.

Write a “snappy” essay, that is your best shot. The odds are kind of stacked against you, considering you are an international applicant; that said, your stats aren’t uncompetitive.

Alrighty, thank you for the input. I know, being Asian and an international is the worst case scenario (since there are so many over-qualified applicants in this pool), but I’ve gotta make it work. I just have to! Any more comments/views/chances? :D

someone please chance me- I can chance back if you need me to!
I just found out that there are no interviews for Arts & Sci. I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing, but there we go haha

Hey! I have the same goal in life at same school woah! Chance me back please! So everything looks really good! I wouldn’t even worry about SAT II’s…like said previously do not matter as much! Your SAT I’s are very good! What is your CR+Math? Don’t just make essays snappy…really make them personal and meaningful…adds ALOT to application! What about recs?

Yup, I think my essays will be good since I enjoy writing! My common app essay is going to be about why I got the part-time job that I have now (sounds so generic, I know, but my angle is unique and where I work is pretty unique too) All my recs are good, I believe.

Haha oh my gosh, I hope we both get in! If we both do get accepted, and we both decide to go to Cornell, we just have to meet :)

Lol yea deff! Cornell is my dream school! So I hope I get in! Those SAT’s are my only enemy! Too late to take try ACT’s so im just going to actually have to crack down and study to up my scores in January.
