<p>Hi everyone! My name is Jacob and I'm a senior in high school. I applied ED to Carnegie Mellon University for Mechanical Engineering, but was denied :/. My next choice is Cornell University because I know that they have an outstanding engineering program. Please tell me what you think, and I'll chance you back as well!</p>

<p>Please tell me what chance do i have for cornell university chemical engineering undergrad. I am an international student. no financial aid needed.</p>

<p>Reach. Your ECs are generic except for captain of swim team. What is the tablet orientation? Sounds like a bunch of filler. You gpa is ok, but your test scores are just average in terms of applicants, maybe lower. If you kick butt on the essay you have a chance, but otherwise, I doubt you will get in.</p>

You’re about 300 SAT points away from being competative.
Wargasm:
Test scores <em>way</em> too low. Your math score is OK, but the others are not even in the ballpark. A top STEM program is turning away kids with 36’s on a regular basis.</p>
