Chance me for Cornell!

Hey everyone, I'm trying to figure out my chances for Cornell School of Engineering. Although it's the most likely school I want to attend, I'm not sure whether I should use my early binding decision on Cornell or my dream school (Stanford/non-binding). I'm also not sure if I should lock into Cornell due to cheaper in-state tuition at UT Austin. Anyways, here are my stats:

1.Asian male from TX
GPA 5.7/6, Ranked 20ish/675

2.Plan to major in Electrical Engineering (maybe minor in Computer Science)

3.Standardized Tests:

SAT: 2260
ACT: 36 composite (with a 7 on writing...)
Subject SATs: 800 on Math II, World History, and Chemistry
APs:
4 World History
5 Computer Science
5 Chinese
4 English Language
5 Calculus BC
5 Chemistry

4.Courses this year--Since I'm taking 2 off periods, I'm afraid that I'm lacking here.

Multivariable Calculus
AP Music Theory
Phys Ed
AP English Lit&Composition
AP Statistics

5.EC/Merit
4 Years of Computer Science Club (2 years as an officer&some local awards)
4 Years of Math Club (regional&state awards--include 2nd and 3rd at state-level competitions)
3 Years of Science Olympiad (awards include 1st place in regional&3rd at state)
National Honor Society
2 Years of Badminton Club (No competitions, just for relaxation)
1 Year on Debate Team (not many awards but plenty of participation)

50+ Hours Volunteering @ Local Library
30+ Hours Volunteering for my City

Summary:
How are my chances for Cornell School of Engineering?
Should I early action (binding) Cornell or use it on Stanford/another school (nonbinding)?
Any financial aid/scholarship tips are welcome too!

Thanks for taking your time to read this!

Hey man I’m also applying to Cornell for ED too!
I’d say that you have a chance in getting into Cornell but I’d advise you to take the act/sat again.
It wouldn’t hurt right? Also, your ec seems a little weak. What do you think?

Let me know. Also, chance me too!

36 on act? You will get in.

write that essay and send in the EA application and youre g2g

Thanks for the replies! Don’t think I’ll be taking the act again (that 36 isn’t always easy). Anyways, bump for more opinions!

Solid chance! If you apply ED I think it is likely you will get in and if you apply regular decision, then it is basically a toss up.

Is Cornell affordable? Run your family’s financial information through Cornell’s NPChttps://cornell.studentaidcalculator.com/survey.aspx It is usually very accurate (to within a few thousand dollars or less)
