I think you have a very competitive profile, taking into account your GPA, ethnicity, extracurriculars, and test scores.

Those essays don’t have to be too amazing, but I hope they’re well written.

Are you a New York resident applying to one of the three state funded colleges at Cornell ? If so, then your chances may be better–although I am not certain.

No, unfortunately I’m a California applicant. In addition, my interview went extremely well! My interviewer told me I was the most self- aware and confident interviewee she ever had and that she would ‘do all she could’ to help me in admissions, so hopefully that will help as well. Thank you both!!

You have competitive stat. Are you applying for CAS? If so, it is very competitive. Per Cornell, CAS interview is informative but does not hold much water. A compelling essay does. Wish you luck.
