<p>My extracurriculars aren't too special, but do I have a shot?</p>

Asian
Public High School from grades 9-11. As a Junior I transferred to a charter school mid-year.</p>

<p>Unweighted GPA: 3.978
Weighted GPA: 4.804
- (Only received 1 B Freshman year)
My school doesn't rank.</p>

<p>SAT I: 2250 (690 CR, 760 M, 800 W)
ACT: 35</p>

<p>SAT II:
Chinese w/Listening: 790
Math II: 800
US History: 800</p>

<p>I started out doing Pre-IB, IB classes, but my new school doesn't offer IB, so I switched to AP. I hadn't gotten to go through an entire year of AP class for any of these tests, so it was mostly self-study.</p>

<p>I would say you have a VERY good chance of getting in. I’m always a little skeptical giving chances for ivys, but I had 4 of my friends get accepted to Cornell and they had similar stats, but not quite as good as yours. So I would say you’re most likely in (I won’t make guarantees though!).
By the way, that is IMPRESSIVE you scored 5’s on almost all of those AP tests with self study! I took the Calc BC test and Euro test with the full year class, and euro i BARELY got a 4, and Calc BC i got a 3! So props to you! If you get into Cornell, I think you’ll do very well!</p>

<p>i would say you have a good shot… but if you consider the applicant pool EVERYONE is really qualified. it’s a matter of fit and personality above all else once applicants get to your level. stats can only get you so far, so show off your personality. you’re also asian so you have to work extra hard - not being racist just stating the truth lol</p>

<p>Yeah, I know I’m up against competition with similar accomplishments if not better. And I’m also aware of the Asian thing, lol. So, I won’t get too conceited. I just hope I’m not out of my league here.</p>
