PLEASE CHANCE AND GIVE ME ADVICE!!!
PLEASE!!!!!!!!

Ok I’m only very familiar with UVA and UPenn so I’m going to focus on those. I would say you hav a very god chance of getting into UVA, especially in state, and I would say that your stats are on par with UPenn, and depending on your essays and recs you should be fine there too. Sorry I can’t be much help with the others.
Chance me back please.

i think your good for UVA- i know Penn is really difficult. not that many people at my competitive school got in this year.
good luck- your numbers look solid.
chance back!

Yes, colleges do like an upward trend. I think UCLA and UMich don’t even count Freshman year grades when calculating your GPA, which would make your GPA for them around 3.9. Also, what is your class rank? If you’re not in the top 10%, it’ll hurt your chances.

UCLA - Low Reach/Reach
UMich - Low Reach/High Match
UVA - Low Reach/High match
Virginia Tech - in
Upenn - Reach

None of us can give you an accurate prediction on a 1-10 scale.

UCLA: Low reach
University of Michigan: High match
University of Virginia: Match
Virginia Tech: Match
University of Pennsylvania: Low reach

Good luck!
Chance back?

UCLA - Low Reach/match
UMich - High Match
UVA - High match
Virginia Tech - high match
Upenn - low Reach

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/745104-please-chance-me-ill-chance-back.html

UCLA: Low Reach (but you definitely have a good shot since they won’t really see your freshman grades + there’s a rising trend + you’re first generation + you have basketball and we, the Bruins love basketballers! Haha! Though you must be really good to have it make a difference)

University of Michigan: Match

University of Virginia: High Match

Virginia Tech: Super Easy Match

University of Pennsylvania: Reach (also- depends a lot on the major!)

:)

Hope this helps!!

In at vt. Match at uv. Michigan good chance. ucla fifty fifty

“Hooks : First Generation, how in India we started a organization that teaches young children about the western lifestyle and tries molding them into good citizens (i teach every summer since 8th grade)”

If you expand on this more in your essay or something you will probably get into any school you want with your resume. Just speak about how you want to Americanize people while helping them preserve their culture. This “hook” is probably just as good as writing “i solved the cancer pandemic”

UCLA - Low Reach
University of Michigan - High Match
University of Virginia (in state) - In/High Match
Virginia Tech (in state)- In
University of Pennsylvania - Low/Mid Reach. Ivies are always tough to judge, and this is where that freshman GPA might actually hurt you, but the upward trend is good. I’d give you a 6 or a 7.
