even the tiniest bit of feedback would be helpful!
You’re numbers look really good, they’re definitely in the range for those schools but you’re ec’s seem kind of thin. (Maybe they’re great, idk because you want to stay anonymous. Hard for me to judge)
Dartmouth/Duke: Reach (for anyone)
U Chicago/Vanderbilt: Target
@Pokeman1 thank you for your feedback! Yes, my ec’s look really thin because of the censoring. Many of my friends use this site and they would easily recognize me if they saw my activities. I appreciate the insight!
@camelot39 thank you for your help! I appreciate it!!
Acceptance Rates:
UChicago – 7.6%
Vanderbilt – 8.8%
Duke – 10.4%
Dartmouth – 10.5%
I’m not sure where the above poster got his/her info from, but all those schools are reaches for everyone. Neither UChicago nor Vandy are targets for pretty much every single applicant.
@LAD2266 it’s no secret that weaker students and the sheer number of students applying lower the acceptance rates to top colleges
I was referring to post three. I didn’t understand how Duke/Dartmouth were reaches yet UChicago/Vandy were targets? Ultimately they should be reaches for pretty much every single applicant.
All reaches.
Yeshiva would be a safety for you.
@Starforward hey can you give me feedback? It’s on the thread you commented in
ECs look good. Scores and GPA are good. Essays need to great and you should stand a chance.
@Starforward @thetennisking yeah I agree, work hard on your essays!
These are all admissions reaches. Remember to add some match-range schools and at least one safety.
