I have been a teen guide for my church's vacation bible school for several summers (week long committment)
This summer I participated in a missions trip in Pennsylvania (I'm from Upstate NY) also through my church
I am a member of my school's National Honor Society and Tri-M Music Honor Society
I am joining my school's academic decathlon team this year</p>

<p>You have a very solid chance of getting into dartmouth. Your grades and test scores definitely seem up to par, as well as your ec’s, but compared to everything else, you’re ec’s aren’t superb.
I say you have a great shot and if you want to improve in some field (although not necessary), it would be your ec’s.</p>

<p>Thanks everybody! I forgot to mention my work experience too, I have worked in food service and as a concierge since the summer going into my sophomore year, both at a local “independent senior living center” or in non politically correct terms, an old folks home.</p>

<p>Is an interview important for Ivies, or does it differ from school to school? I’m planning on interviewing there this September.</p>
