<p>I'm currently a high school junior. I decided to do this after receiving my ACT and SAT scores. Thanks for any help you can give me! Planning on majoring in Biochemistry, with a minor in English (Pre-med).</p>

<p>Junior Year: AP Calc AB/BC, AP Environmental, AP English 3, Honors Newspaper (2 semesters), Healthful Living, AP U.S. History</p>

<p>Senior Year: AP Chem/Honors Research Methods (2 semesters), AP Bio, AP Statistics, AP English 4, Honors Newspaper (2 semesters), Art 1 (NC Scholar, need 1 art credit)</p>

<p>GPA:</p>

<p>3.5625 UW, 4.125 W (Rough first semester this year)</p>

<p>CLASS RANK:</p>

<p>95/533 (Top 20%)</p>

<p>ACT:</p>

<p>34 composite [33 English, 35 Math, 34 Reading, 34 Science, 11 Essay]-- First attempt</p>

<p>SAT:</p>

<p>2070 [690 CR, 740 M, 640 W]-- First attempt</p>

<p>ECs:</p>

<p>French Club (9-11, officer this year, probably officer again next year)
NHS (11, probably going to be officer next year)

<p>A lot of my hours are through boy scouting and tutoring, I'm up to a few hundred over the last couple years.</p>

<p>Your GPA is a tad low for most of those schools. To get in, you’ll need to have great recs and essays. You should certainly find some safeties. </p>

<p>Depends on one’s statehood: a safety should be NCSU/UNCW/UNCG if the OP is a NC resident, or a CSU if a California resident.</p>

<p>For you I would say Davidson is a reach, Wake a match and UNC a match. Your SAT and ACT will make up for your GPA</p>
