Chance Me for Drexel and Udel ChemE

EDIT: I am currently in my Junior year
I havent done ACTs or SATs yet, because my advisors told me to wait until second semester, but I am hoping for National Merit on the PSAT. (I'm a good test taker)
GPA: 2.9
AP: Currently in AP Chem and AP Literature

Extracurriculars:
- Member of school's Key Club
- Varsity Soccer Team
- Volunteering as a tutor for underprivileged kids in the city

About the bad GPA, I had a terrible freshman year (2.0 Weighted GPA), and then realized I had to get my act together. Sophomore Year I got a 3.0 GPA (With no weighted classes), while taking French 1 and Latin 2 together. I am currently in Latin 3, French 2, AP Chemistry, and AP English with a 3.8 weighted GPA.

I know I screwed up badly, but I really want to go to a good school like UDel or Drexel. (Mostly Dexel. The Drexel Co-Op program blew my mind)

Drexel: High match (I assume Drexel is more selective for ChemE than the school’s average)
UDel: High match

Do you know what your class rank is? Because you should really try to get in the top 25% for Drexel and if you are that will help, top 15% or 10% would be even better!
Your gpa is of course going to pull you down but Drexel’s average gpa is only a 3.4uw so your gpa is not too bad.
Your SAT is could be the determining factor, if you pull off a 1850+ you would go from a high match to a match!

Good luck! Also I would advise taking your SAT ASAP, the sooner you take it the more time you have to prep if you don’t like the original outcome.

My school doesn’t post class ranks.

Thanks for the replies guys!
