Duke is my top choice, and somewhere I’ve always wanted to go! If I felt financially confident, I would apply ED, but Duke’s price tag is a little too lofty… I’d greatly appreciate any advice.
Test Scores:
My test scores stress me out the most, but I’m retaking in December.

Subject tests are good.

Class Rank: 1/365
APs offered: 11
APs taken: 7
(My school limits to 2 AP classes a year, and they do not let Freshman or Sophomores take them, so I had to heavily petition to take the APs I did)

I’ve done a lot of volunteering and even started many projects on my own, as well as been involved culturally, but I know Duke is a reach for students who have started ministries across seas and have done off the wall activities like learned to professionally unicycle by the age of 12… but I really would like to get in, and I do not have any special skills (I’m not a phenomenal track runner so that option is out of the window).
Any advice?
Thanks!
