-AP Euro/World History (Whatever it will be called)

Oh yea, I almost forgot…

I speak fluent Russian (because of my background) and conversational Spanish (as you can tell by my curriculum)

Also, I am part of a new program @ my school where we designed a new iPhone app, which reports school news (sports updates, homework, etc.). I helped create this application, and will be an administrator.

I will also probably be an AP Scholar of some kind, and a National Commended Merit Commended Scholar.

Lastly…and this is kinda bad…I come from a fairly affluent neighborhood in NJ.

I think you’re good for any of those schools (Duke, Columbia, UPENN), but I suggest you don’t take the SATs again. Other than that your GPA, extracurriculars, and awards are pretty amazing. Plus, you’re a first generation immigrant.

bumpbumpbump

Definitely retake the SAT.

Your ECs are really scattered. Try to package yourself a bit better, don’t include every last thing of it’s not important.

With good essays, you’ll have a shot, but not a guarantee, at these school’s. Definitely apply ED to your favorite for the added boost.

Yeah, I agree, definitely retake the SAT…

What can we say? You have a shot at any one of those schools… You just gotta apply ED and see what happens :)

Well I was thinking about just taking out science league, and the military packaging. but I thought about leaving the rest in…I mean all of the clubs reflect my wide variety of interests (might have to explain that?). Which clubs would you recommend leaving in, and which would you recommend taking out?

And thanks for the advice on re-taking the SAT…I think I will do that in October as a senior.

bumpbumpbump?
