I really don’t think you should apply to Duke. Your GPA is lower than average. Your extracurriculars are average and act is also average. Though you do have legacy, I do not think you should apply there simply because of your GPA. Your SAT score is solid, but colleges care more about consistent performance in examinations which you have not shown. Anything below a 3.90 is not worth risking for ED. ED increases your chances of getting in, hence you should maximise your chance of getting in a top college such as NU which is not as selective.
