SAT II: 760 US History, 740 Math II (only submitted to Northwestern, ND and UVa)
GPA: 4.0/4.0 UW, 4.65 W
Class Rank: 8/417 (top 2%)
AP Scores: Euro (5), Stats (5), US History (5), Calc AB (5), Lang and Comp (5), Macroecon (4), Microecon (4), Chem (3)
Senior Year schedule: AP Calc BC, AP Bio, AP Physics 1, AP US Gov’t, senior literature electives, Graphics (required art class for graduation)
Major Awards: National Merit Commended Scholar (PSAT = 204), AP Scholar with Distinction, All-League and All-District soccer awards, academic soccer awards, honor roll every quarter, etc.

Extracurricular:
Cleveland Clinic Junior Ambassador Program (120 volunteer hours), Student Volunteer Program (Co-President), Mu Alpha Theta (Secretary), 3 year Varsity soccer player (captain), Leadership Conference Planning Committee member, HUDDLE program (head program coordinator), NHS, club soccer all 4 years, job at kennel sophomore year, a few other minor ones.

Other:
Teacher recs and counselor rec should all be very good.
I really liked all of my essays, others thought they were good as well.
Top 5 public high school in Ohio, very competitive
White male, $200k+ income bracket

WashU - Accepted, Waitlisted, or Deferred

For the tougher schools, especially Ivy Leagues, it really depends what major you are going for. Do your classes reflect your major? Also, as much as I hate to say this, some majors are more difficult than others.
