<p>Hey guys, could someone chance me for duke, unc, brown, uga, nc state, uva, northwestern, ohio state, florida, and davidson?</p>

Grade: 11th
Race/sex/state: White/male/NC</p>

<p>Gpa:
Unweighted: 3.66
Weighted:4.65</p>

<p>Class transcript(grades in parenthesis):</p>

<p>Freshmen year:
Gym(A) Latin I(B) Honors geometry(B) Honors english I(A) Honors bio(B) Honors world hist(B) Latin II(B) Honors algebra II(C)</p>

<p>Sophomore year:
Advanced functions and mathematics(B) AP environmental(A) Honors civics(A) Computer applications(A) Honors chemistry(A) Honors english II(A) Honors Latin III(A) principals of business and finance(A)</p>

<p>Junior year:

<p>Pros: 10 AP classes. Good grades 10th-11th
Cons: Bad freshmen grades.</p>

200-300 hours by time of application.</p>

<p>Assuming I do well on act or sat, what are my chances for these schools?

<p>unc, uga, nc state, uva, ohio state, florida, and davidson should be within reach; duke, brown, and northwestern are stretches. </p>

<p>I wouldn’t stress too much about your grades freshman year, because colleges like to see improvement. and i see a lot of honors/ap classes so that should help you out somewhat. </p>

<p>your extracurriculars are pretty good, especially with leadership positions and founding a club.</p>

<p>i’d say for the SAT you’d want to break 2000 if possible, but you’d need to be in the 2100s for northwestern and duke and probably 2200 for brown.</p>
