UVA- in no problems
UChicago Duke- reach (just like everyone else)
Berkeley- High match

You’re ECs are really great. Just like… Well all the rest of your app. You’ll do well wherever you end up. Make sure you are looking for a good fit as well. Too many people are chasing prestige for prestige’s sake without taking into account how they would fit in to the colleges they are applying for.

Best of luck!

Uchicago does not have an engineering major at the undergrad level. What would you major in there? ECs are above average, but rank and ACT are not. Is there a reason you have not taken many AP Classes?

@kiddo64, re: UChi: I’m probably not going to go at all, actually. I just dream of moving back to Chicago and was considering sending in an application.

I actually considered 11 to be quite a few AP classes… I would have more, but my school doesn’t allow you to take APs freshman year and only 1 AP sophomore year.

My rank would be higher but I didn’t take higher weighted classes freshman and sophomore year, as opposed to my other classmates. My rank will go up after this reporting term.

I’m actually a junior in high school (sorry for the lies) The AP scores are estimates based on performance in the class (other than HuGe) and the ACT is a plan. The subject tests are based on performance in Chem/Math class, teacher estimates, friend performance, and test taking ability. This is a very reasonable estimate as for where I will be by college next year. Everything else is true. Senior course load classes are ones I’m for sure taking next year…
