Please let me know what you think!
Thank you.

Additionally, I was nominated for the Pogue scholarship evincing that my diversity essay is particularly standout. Does anyone know how much Duke values diversity and whatnot?

Honestly, I have no clue what the standards/admissions are like at Duke.
What’s your intended major? And do you somehow convey an interest in the major through ECs/Community Service?

No I’m undecided so not really.

Great shot.

Ohh, alright.
Well your SAT score is high, and so is your GPA; I’d say your a high match. :

I’d say a fairly decent chance. Strong SAT + URM + great ECs = Duke material. Good luck!

Chance: the possibility of a particular outcome in an uncertain situation- the only prediction that I can give is 15% chance, as that is approximately Duke’s acceptance rate.

note: income bracket is not necessarily irrelevant- a low-income individual can use their situation as a hook (conveyed by essays)
