Chance me for Duke

<p>So I applied early decision to the trinity school at duke. I am waiting for hear back, but in the meantime I was wondering what are me actual chances. </p>

<p>I go to a very large inner city public high school.</p>

7 physics</p>

<p>Extra curriculars
1. Los Angeles chapter leader for AFS (American field service). It's a study abroad program.
2. Fundraised a scholarship to study abroad for an underprivileged student.
3. Pres and founder of AFS club at my school
4. 4 year varsity golfer
5. International ambassador for my school (11 were chosen out 1024).
6. Did research for a stem cell company
7. 2 years jv soccer
8 4 years in theatre (did 2 plays)
And won multiple competitions</p>

<p>I also won the medallion (highest honor) for world languages for my whole school. </p>

<p>I don't know if this helps but my moms best friend works at duke and her husband is a professor there and they wrote a letter on my behalf. Don't know if this helps.

<p>I think you have an excellent shot at duke! The only thing that could possibly defer you to RD is test scores, but those are honestly very good! I don’t think there is any way you are rejected! Obviously it’s pretty hard to know what duke is doing, but you look like an extremely competitive applicant who has more to offer than just academics. Good luck!</p>

<p>Your academics are strong, aside from the ACT being a little low but otherwise it looks like you have a strong application. What is your intended major?</p>
