<p>I'm planning to take Economics in junior year, but not sure what I will be taking for senior year electives.</p>

Scholastic Regional Honorable Mention for writing
Published in a small online lit journal
NASA Video contest 2nd place (National)
Aiming for the Congressional Gold Medal</p>

<p>Your GPA is fine so try to aim for a 2200+/32+ on your tests and youll be in the running academically. Besides that, try to take on more leadership positions and lit-related clubs since that seems to be your interest.</p>

<p>get your leadership positions up and make yourself stand out. duke turns down plenty of kids with good scores and grades, make sure you pursue your passions and communicate that on your app</p>
