Wow, period. If that's true, then you are indeed a very smart, very strong applicant. I've never seen anyone that talented w/ my own eyes though, so I'll be wary.

Watson&Crick... i had a bio test which mentioned a multiple choice answer about you :P LOL!... hope that made you feel famous for the few seconds you read this LOL...

Ya, and to the OP: female, smart, and overcame deep adversity= IN

Bump. I know this is a wicked old post (haha re: wicked....see? I'm ready for Boston already!) but the EA decisions date is SOON (although not soon enough) so I'm especially curious about my chances now. Any other thoughts or predictions???

417 views and only 6 responses is a little scary; is everyone just too afraid to tell me that the reality is I'm screwed??? Please respond and be HONEST! :)

I think there's a really good chance you've been accepted EA. Everything points to it, but the competition for EECS is realllllly ridiculous at MIT. That's the single thing that exists against you.

Although there are a lot of EECS majors at MIT, I don't think that would adversely affect you in admissions (I put EECS as my major of interest on my app too, so I am a little bit biased..).

Even if it did, there are most likely fewer females than males in EECS, so your being a female combined with the EECS interest would only help you.
