<p>I want to begin by saying I'm super intimidated by the admissions process. I realize my stats may not be on the level of other CC members, but I'm putting my best foot forward :) Please chance me for EA at Georgetown. And be kind...i know there can be a lot of animosity in these forums :/</p>

<p>GPA (weighted): 6.2
GPA (unweighted):3.8
Academic Distinction: IB Diploma Candidate
Race: White
School: I am very poor* (under $50,000 per yr) and attend an inner-city public school that is heavily Afro-Caribbean and Hispanic. I am the only white person in my graduating class.
Poor*- I have a part time job to help support my family.
SAT II: U.S. History 770. I'm still waiting for my Lit and Bio scores
ACT: First time 26 not practice. Taking again Oct 22
AP: U.S. History, English Lit, 4
IB: Math Studies: 4, Bio: 4. These are the only IB scores available. I test out in the rest of my classes at the end of the year.</p>

Your Work Experience also looks pretty strong. Your grades seem a bit low though. Especially Math Studies…considering, you know, its math studies. Your US History score is strong. What’re your predicted grades and how’d you calculate your GPA?</p>
