Chance me for EA!

<p>Hey, I'm a senior at a top high school in California, we send many many kids out to Ivy's every year and I'll be applying to Chicago for Neuroscience. </p>

<p>-My GPA is a major upwards trend: 2.5 Freshmen year 4.0 every since.
My overall unweighted comes out to 3.44 and weighted is 3.66. (3.83/4.16) if you disregard freshmen year.</p>

<p>SAT I: 800 CR 750 M 750 W
SAT II: Chemistry (800) Math IIc (800) Physics (760)
AP Tests: Macroecon(5) Microecon(4) Chemistry(5) Env. science(5) Statistics(5)</p>

<p>Senior Year Schedule: AP Physics, AP English Lit, AP Calc BC, Digital Imaging, Finite Mathematics, Economics</p>

<p>Awards:
-I made AIME my junior year, score of 103.5 on AMC12, and a 3 on the AIME itself.
-National Merit Semifinalist
-Local Science Olympiad Gold Medal in ChemLab.</p>

<p>EC's:
-Summer Research Intern at a cancer lab at UC Berkeley last summer, worked over 300 hours.
-Officer of the American Cancer Society at my school. (A lot of hours from volunteering at Cancer fund raising events).
-City Day Camp counselor (~100 hours).
-Treasurer of school cultural society
-Science Olympiad team (3 years).
-I currently work 10 hrs/week at a private tutoring business. Make $20/hour.</p>

<p>I would really appreciate it if you could chance me for Early Action!</p>

<p>I would say you have a good chance.Just make sure your essays are great, because they can help you more than a 2300 on the SAT or they can hurt you more than a 3.44 GPA.</p>

<p>Hopefully there will be less people applying this year so we both can get in…</p>

<p>The upward trend is something they definitely like. Do well on your essays and you have a very good chance of getting in.</p>
