Hi, I'm applying EA to the college as a government major. I would really appreciate it if anyone could let me know whether I can consider Georgetown a reach or a match, and if there's anything I should keep in mind to improve my chances when filling out my application, such as what I should emphasize in my essays? Thank you so much!!

[]Recommendations: Should be excellent. Two will be from community college professors. One of them taught me for two semesters in junior year, she's a speech professor and a good friend who thinks very highly of me. The other also taught me for two semesters last year (Spanish) and nominated me for a campus-wide award. I might also include a recommendation from my supervisor at my internship, who always praises me very highly, but with the election so close I don't know if she'll have time
[]Essays: I'm a decent enough writer, but I'm a little stumped for ideas at the moment. I guess they'll be pretty average.
[]Financial situation: Not great. My mom is a single parent and I doubt she'll be able to contribute anything. I'll definitely have to get a lot of financial aid.
[]Hooks: None that I know of
