Essay:
I wrote about some of the projects I’ve made programming (a basic development environment, debugging and memory editing tools, fairly involved applications - you get the idea), how I got into it as a hobby during middle school, what I’ve felt it has taught me and how I was able to apply that knowledge help my teacher and classmates in my computing class, as well as what I’ve been teaching myself recently (computation-heavy programming, C) and why I enjoy it.
Recommendation Letter:
My chemistry teacher whom I’ve had for 2 years wrote a really amazing essay detailing my character and contributions to the class, as well as my drive and interest in science and engineering.
Extra Curriculars:
2-year member of National Honor Society and Science National Honor Society
3-year member of my school’s tech support class and 3-year participant in my school’s annual technology conference
Community service hours at a walk-in clinic helping office staff and patients
The main thing I’m worried about is being OOS and having mediocre ECs compared to a lot of the applications I have read on here.
Thanks for reading!
