I think you have a good chance. I don’t know about scholarships though.

You’re stats seem to fit the average of accepted students of the past year. With that being said, you should be admitted to the business school. However, it really just depends on how strong the applicant pool is for any given year.

Yeah it doesn’t matter what your intended major is, Gtech doesn’t do that. You’ll be evaluated the same if you’re applying as engineer or english.

Really @Chessy18?? Does it matter that I am Out of State or not? i heard they score you on your essays and whatnot…and put a greater weight on SAT Math vs SAT Reading?

^He is correct. The major you put down doesn’t matter because once you are at GT you can change it…Unless you are a transfer student then you supposedly can’t.

Being in state vs outstate plays a role… its just the nature of the system.

For SAT importance, I mean it’s just a score. They see you’re CR+M and your composite, and make a decision. They always report their CR+M, which was 1460 average last year. They put emphasis on CR+M. As long as you’re around 1400 CR+M, 2100 SAT, scores should not be an issue.

all right thanks @Chessy ya that makes sense. I submitted my application already…! :)
