Chance me for ED at dartmouth?

hey, i got advised to make a thread, so i would really appreciate any input i can get.
these are my stats:

i graduated from high school in June last year,
took A level Bio, math, chem and physics for 11th and 12th and am an A student in all my classes.
got the school scholarship in my 12th year.
was class valedictorian (rank 1)
National topper in india for A level physics
SAT 1 score: 2330 (760 reading, 770 math, 800 writing)
SAT2 : 2400 (physics, chemistry, math level 2)
studied English for 4 years, french for 3.

Extra curriculars:
1. over hundred hours comm service at school teaching underpriviledged children.
2.over 200 hours in the past year volunteering at an NGO school teaching underpriviledged kids.
3.Was founder and President of School science and math club.
4.did a whole bunch of intramural sports at school, captained class cricket team, was a founder of school cricket team.
5.have been doing research at an institute for a while in the past year.
6.taught A level physics at my school for 2 months.
7. play guitar and bongo drums.

essay is excellent, and so are the teacher evaluations.
i want to major in physics.
since i applied ED, i was wondering how good a chance i have as an international.

no one have an opinion?

those scores are REALLY good, from what it looks like your pretty solid, noone is gaurenteed to a plce like that but I’d say pretty good chance, I don’t know your gpa but id still say you should look forward to a big envelope

CHANCE BACK?

id like to, but i know so little about admissions that i dont think my opinion will be of much help.
ive got As, and since A levels are all AP i guess weighted itd be a 5/5

waddya say?

did u say u are a grade 12 passout?
if that is the case it will play against you unless u have a solid reason for doing that. most of the applicants from india will not be gap year students, so this might hamper your chances.

yeah i have good reasons, and ive been busy doing comm service, teaching and research

To be frank, many people do these things despite being involved with stressing grade 12 academic rigor in India.
I m not sure, but to do 200 hour of community service when you have no academics to worry about might not be very impressive.
On the other hand if you are doing intensive research and spending a lot of time teaching they might take ur situation positively. Even otherwise your great SAT scores and class rank will keep you in hunt.
p.s- Dartmouth loves valedictorians!(all ivies do that but none like dartmouth):)

buuuuuuuuump

anyone?anything?

buuuuuuuump…

What would be the point? In a little over a week you are going to find out one way or the other.

You will either have your other applications ready to send out, or you will have a big shredding part, but to constantly bunmp when the situation is out of your hands is the equivalent of putting lipstick on a pig- it is a waste of time and it upsets the pig. I think you should take a deep breath and find something constructive to do with your time. While waiting is not fun, bumping up chances is not going to change things.

No matter what happens, I have every confidence that a year from now you will roll your eyes at your self for posting this thread.

again, you will know soon enough, good luck.
