W: 750
Subject Tests: 740 Bio, 700 Math 2
National Merit Commended

Also applying for Juilliard Exchange.
My guidance counselor hinted that my rec letters are at least good.
I am male and Chinese.
Am I missing any information you need?

You seem to be the stereotypical Asian applicant, which should hurt. Your CR score is sub par, and sadly the 750 W won’t be taken into account. A 1460 isn’t special at Columbia. The GPA is a strong point, and you’ve taken a decent amount of AP’s, but still, it’s nothing special. Your EC’s, aside from Piano, are unimpressive.

I’d say you have a 25% shot with ED, but that’s not terrible. Applying never hurt anyone.

Why won’t the 750W be taken into account? It’s not as valuable as CR/M, but it’s still worth a lot IMO. Your subject tests are a little low, however. Still, you have a decent-good shot at ED

What are my chances for University of Chicago?
