Senior Course Load: AP Stat, AP Gov, AP Lit, AP Euro, and a dual enrollment course at a college.

By graduation I will have completed 8 AP courses, primarily As and I expect 4s and 5s on the exams. I have taken mostly all honors/AP courses, except for a few random courses as an underclassmen where a more difficult course was not an option. I took French 1-4, and German 1-2 as well which I believe helps with my intended major Global Health or international affairs. I am currently President of both my school's French Club (I traveled to France on a school trip which I talk about partly in an essay), and my school's Beta Club. I also competed on a competitive dance team, I am a member of NHS, HOSA, Student Council, Town Council, American Legion, Junior Civitans, and a few other misc. clubs. I have a quite a lot of volunteer hours which I discuss when I talk about my intended major and how I hope provide care for others. Some of primary honors I discuss are that I was selected to intern at a local hospital, I was nominated for my state's Governor's School though unfortunately not selected to attended, and I spoke at a national education conference last summer. I am also an AP scholar, attended the Clemson C-Cats, Duke Tip, and have a few other school awards. I also briefly discuss my Siemen's We Can Change the World project in my additional essay on Common App and how that relates to Global Health. I also list my job experience as I worked as a Lifeguard this past summer. My essays I believe are above average, and as should my letters of recommendation. My dad attended U of Chicago if that makes a huge impact having an alum connection. I am working on my SAT, will be taking it one more time in attempt to get my scores more on par with both school's norm.
