Chance me for ED please? I will chance back!

Hi I'm an Asian male and would like to hear your opinions on my chance of going to Cornell ED. I feel like my grades and scores are a bit lacking, but I hope my extracurricular will give me a boost.

The following are my info:

-SAT-2180, Math 740, Reading 730, Writing 710

-SAT 2-Math 2 770
Biology 670

-Our school doesn't rank but I'd estimate I'm in top 10% and took the hardest course load.

-NHS

-AP Scholar with Honor (though I don't think I did well on my APs)

Sports:

-4 Year varsity starter for tennis. (Captain for 2 years, division champs for 2 years, NJ Group 1 champs one year, player of the division two years, coach's award)

-3 Years soccer (10th-12th grade, Varsity 12th grade)

Extracurricular:

-Go(it's a board game, like chess):
-9th grade-Youngest player to win nationals, invited to play in several invitational tournaments, represented USA against Canada, member of the East coast All Star Team.
-10th grade-Represented USA against an International League, invited to play in Strong Player's Online Tournament
-11th grade-Represented USA against Japan in friendly match, national Go teacher of the year nominee, National School Go Team Champion (captain and first board)
-12th grade-Represented USA in World Mind Sport Games (once every 4 years), WMSG Team Leader

Teaching Experience: Been teaching Go for 4 years, at least over 500 hours. Both volunteer and paid teaching

Volunteer Work: Camp Councilor for 4 years at same summer camp and as Go instructor

School Newspaper: 2 years

Math League/Physics League: 2 years

School Play: 1 year

What do you think my chances are for ED?
Thanks so much for your time guys!

Your chances look very good for most colleges and good for Engineering. Which college are you applying to?

I want to major in business and biology but looking at my bio sat 2 score, I feel its a bit low so I might only declare business and apply to the school of agriculture and life science.

You have a good chance, especially ED. Make sure to write a supplement that is very specific to the major you want and what school you chose so they see you are the right fit.

Good luck :)

What about my low sat 2 score? That won’t break me will it? >.<

Cornell requires you to submit all your scores, so the way I see it a good chunk of people have that 600s score they would rather hide, but have to submit anyway. You are not alone in having that one score (which isn’t horribly bad either). Above 650 is “decent”.

I just meant that it won’t make them second guess the applicant. It doesn’t really stick out in light of the rest of his application.
