Hooks: URM and first generation

i thought that Penn said that all scores, ACT AND SAT need to be sent in. Well, each to their own; Also, you NEED two SAT subject tests. IT IS REQUIRED.

read here: [Penn Admissions: Required Tests](http://www.admissions.upenn.edu/applying/testing.php)

Everything else seems legit. URM and First Gen helps out and I think u got a good chance, just do those subject sats. BTW, which school in Penn are you applying to?

Hey tommy22, I read about the SAT thing and I am taking Chem, MAth II, and US this May. I want to apply to the College of Arts and Sciences, but I am currently looking into applying for a dual degree with the college of engineering

do you want to do a coordinated dual degree (ie VIPER) or apply for a dual degree later?

I am not a big fan of energy research so I don’t think VIPER would be right for me. I just recently asked this as a question and I would love to make my own combo once I learn more about it. I hear it gets complicated, but I guess I’ll have to do some more research

“Penn requires first-year applicants to take the SAT Reasoning Test and two SAT Subject Tests in different subjects OR the ACT Plus Writing.”

Yup, thanks Geography23
