chance me for ED please!

<p>i am applying ED this year at northwestern but i dont know if i will be a strong contender or not? heres my stats:</p>

<p>Ethnicity, Gender - Indian female
Location - IL</p>

<p>Scores: SAT I - 2010 (M-730, W-680, CR-600) (I know this is low, should i even bother sending it?)
ACT - 32
SAT II - Math Level 2-730, Physics-620 (Again the physics score is low, should i still send it?)
GPA - 4.08 weighted on a 4.0 scale
Rank - 147/1392 (yeah i know its a huge school)
AP - English Language-5 and AP Calculus AB-4
Course Load - Very Hard with 5 AP classes this year including stats, micro, macro, physics, and literature </p>

<p>Major Extracurriculars -<br>
-Graduated from indian classical dance last summer, have been doing it for about 8 years
-Been in BPA for 2 years and am vice president, placed top 10 in both-computerized accounting and administrative support team-at nationals
-Model UN president
-Won many small awards for accounting competitions</p>

<p>Job/Work Experience -
- Last summer interned at an IT company for 3 months and was paid for it (im getting a rec from them)</p>

<p>Volunteer/Community service -
-Teaching kids from ages 8 to 12 about living values and meditation; about 100 hours</p>

<p>Research -<br>
- Did a project with a University of Chicago professor on going green (im also getting a rec from him)</p>

<p>Other -
Financial Aid - No
Hooks - I love the school and have wanted to go there forever
Major - I want to go into economics and minor in business and ideally id like to get the business certification some students get from kellogg </p>

<p>Do you think id make it in with ED? What can i improve on or change? Any suggestions are welcome!</p>

<p>You are certainly a “contender.” I would recommend using the 32 ACT and avoiding the SAT score, which is not impressive by NU standards. I also don’t think the SAT Subject Test score in Physics will help at all, while it could possibly create doubts.
Write a really compelling essay and you’ll be in the running.
