Depends on what you want to go into because you’d be competing against other people in that field. Your chances seem ok, but you are def not a shoe in. Especially since your school has not had a chance to make a name for itself. They may not give you as much credit for taking advanced courses b/c they could just be easy. If you got 4s and 5s on all the APs you took then you’d have a better chance. If not then ehh if no one has ever gotten into Vandy from ur school then it lowers your chances significantly. It also kindof seems like your ecs are waay spread out. they may wonder how much time you are actually dedicating to them. I don’t know the whole picture though, so you do have a chance–better than a good amount of ppl at least. Good luck

You’ll be in their top tier of candidates.

I think you have a decent shot. Something that may hurt you is the fact that you did not take all honors and AP courses, whereas, a lot of the students applying to schools like Vanderbilt probably never took anything but. It may be because your school is newer, though, so they’d probably take that into consideration.

Good luck.

I think you can do it! ESSAY, ESSAY, ESSAY! Make sure it is good! Good luck!

Yah I have taken the most rigorous course my school offers. The highest level math/english/language/history for all 4 years. The only way that I could have taken any more challenging class would have been to take an AP science this year, and since they now require a lab period along with the regular period it would have been nearly impossible. Either way though I am graduating with 6 science credits. Also it is frustrating that my school is new so therefore does not offer many APs/Honors that I would have/could have taken. (AP Latin, AP Government, AP Econ, AP Psych, AP Enviorn, Honors Physics, Honors Bio, Honors Latin, etc)

P.S. It may seem that way about E.C., but trust me, I usually have a meeting every lunch period of the week. Also we have club times twice a week built into the school day designated for more meetings.
